This page is meant to supply every member of the CBU Students' Union will access to all of the documents that they may need to within the Students' Union. This includes SU bylaws, Policies and Procedures of the SU, Society applications and many other important documents.
CBU Students' Union Bylaws
The Students' Union bylaws are the governing rules and regulations that regulate how the Students' Union should run. Administrative Procedures and Policies
The Students' Union Administrative Procedures and Policies Manual, or AP&P, is the document that explains how the Students' Union should be run on a day-to-day basis. The Elections Act
The Elections Act is the document that governs all Students' Union elections, referenda and plebiscites. Click here for a full copy of the CBU Students' Union Elections Act.
Society Application
The Society Application form is the first step any student or group of students must take when considering creating a new society or re-establishing a society from a previous year. Click here for a full copy of the CBU Students' Union Society Application.
Society Funds Request Form
This form must be filled out in full and signed by two signing officers of a society before any funds can be withdrawn from a society’s account for an event or activity. Click here for a full copy of the Society Funds Request Form
Society Funds Deposit Form
This form must be filled out in full and signed by two signing officers of a society before any funds can be deposited into a society’s account. Click here for a full copy of the Society Funds Deposit form.
Emergency Bursary
The CBUSU reserves bursaries for those students who are in need of immediate financial assistance due to unforeseen and/or unfortunate circumstances. This application form allows students to apply for an Emergency Bursary. Click here for a full copy of the Emergency Bursary Application.
Family Opt In (Health Plan)
The CBUSU provides a Health Plan for all of its students. Supplementary health insurance for a full time student’s family is available and can be applied for using this form. Click here for a full copy of the Family Health Plan Opt In application.
Opt Out (Health Plan)
Any student who is currently covered by their health insurance or the health insurance of another person has the option to opt out of the health insurance provided to them as a member of the CBU Students’ Union. Student Union Opt In
New and Transfer students are sometimes required to complete a form which confirms their membership within the CBU Students’ Union. Click here for a full copy of the Student Union Opt In Form.
Job Postings
