Caper Convenience, or “the store”, as it is generally referred to, is the only convenience store on campus, and is owned and operated by the Students’ Union. The store provides your typical snacks, like pop, chips, sandwiches, coffee and other goods, and also has expanded in order to provide res students some essentials, like cleaning supplies, hygiene products, milk, bread and other grocery items.  To ensure all students’ needs are being met, there is a selection of International foods available.  In order to cater to a larger group of students and promote a healthy atmosphere for all students, coming this October to Caper Convenience is a “Healthy Food Section”!  In this section of the store you will find everything from fruit and veggies to low-fat dairy products and whole grain snacks.  The store is also a large employer of students, as all of its staff must be CBU students. 

Want to earn some extra cash working at Caper Convenience?

Easy!  If you are interested in being a cashier, simply forward your resume to the Executive Assistant in the Students’ Union Building between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday (melva@cbusu.com).  Applications may also be mailed to the Students’ Union using the contact information at the bottom of this posting. Interviews will take place at the end of August.  Employment for successful applicants will be based on availability (per class schedule). Please quote job title on all correspondence!
