The Pit Lounge is the most happenin’ place to be at CBU.  The Pit is the campus pub and is owned and operated by the Students’ Union.  Get excited because this past year The Pit has been newly renovated!  The Pit has a whole new look…fresh paint, murals, booths, chandeliers, games, and so much more.  The Pit is a perfect place to meet new friends, or hang with old pals without spending a lot of money.  During the day, The Pit is an ideal place to relax, cram in some studying, or shoot pool between classes.  If you enjoy a fun night out, be prepared for The Pit’s night life.  The entire year is jam-packed with events all happening at your campus bar…everything from Rock The Pit, Foam Parties, Open Mic, Battle of the Bands, Halloween I and II, Holiday Bash, St. Paddies Day Bash, Wet/Dry Nights, Promo Nights, bands, and DJ’s just to name a few.  Along with all of these great features, The Pit is one of the largest employers of students on campus because all staff must be CBU students!

Want to earn some extra cash working at The Pit?

Easy!  If you are interested in providing security or wait staff, simply forward your resume to the Executive Assistant in the Students’ Union Building between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday (dawn@cbusu.com).  Applications may also be mailed to the Students’ Union using the contact information at the bottom of this posting. Applications are due by August 13th, 2010. Interviews will take place at the end of August.  Employment for successful applicants will be based on availability (per class schedule). Please quote job title on all correspondence!
